Passing the time will be more enjoyable for children in an Oxford hospital thanks to a donation from a firm based in the city.
Cluttons Chartered Surveyors, in Beaumont Street, has donated a television with built-in video player and a selection of videos to the children's ward at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Cluttons sponsored a Christmas production of Toad of Toad Hall at the Old Fire Station in George Street, and raised money for the ward by asking for donations at a preview showing for clients.
Ward sister Angela Houlston said: "Children in hospital need to have things that are familiar, like TV and video, to make it a home from home environment. We appreciate these."
