An established Oxfordshire timber dealer has moved to £3m new premises and is looking to expand.
Timbmet has been operating from its base at the Chawley Works, Cumnor Hill, since the 1950s but eventually outgrew its home.
So bosses decided to build new premises next to it which will cater for their needs into the future as it builds on its reputation as Europe's largest hardwood trader.
Group marketing manager Steve Crossley said: "The existing office accommodation reached saturation point so it was decided to put up a purpose-built development which gives us a lot more space and better facilities.
"It has also been built with expansion in mind."
Timbmet employs about 250 at Cumnor Hill which is the firm's national headquarters. It is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
Another 600 people are employed at branches in Rochdale, Glasgow, Tipton in the Midlands and Nottingham.
It imports and distributes hardwood products such as panelling, doors and boarding to customers such as building companies and furniture manufacturers.
