Young people from the Witney area will be showing off their speaking skills as part of a national competition.
Junior and senior teams from secondary schools in the area will be taking part in a round organised by Witney's Rotary Club as part of the annual Youth Speaks competition next Tuesday, in the Langdale Hall, starting at 7pm.
The winners will go through to the zone final where one of the judges will be Simon Garrett, of Carlton TV's Central News.
Rotary Club president Richard Smith said: "It's not easy to stand up and speak in public and it's a valuable skill to acquire. We can promise a very entertaining evening."
