Businesses and shops in Wallingford are being challenged to enter teams in the town's annual pancake race in aid of local charities and organisations.
This year's event, which involves racing round the Market Place for ten minutes, is on Shrove Tuesday, February 12.
The event is backed by Wallingford firm Rowse Honey and organised by Wallingford Lions.
Lions member Barry Kew said: "It's a fun event but with a serious purpose.
"People raise sponsorship money, 90 per cent of which goes to their nominated cause and ten per cent into the Lions' charities fund.
"They can run in fancy dress, three-legged, any way they want.
"It would be good to see local businesses and shops giving their staff a chance to do this -- and the more who take part, the more money is raised for good causes."
