Oxford Harlequins coach Matt Maudsley, playing his first full game for four months, scored 26 points as his side romped to a 76-10 victory over Milton Keynes at Horspath Road.
A knee injury and coaching duties have kept the former captain on the sidelines, but he showed his class by scoring two tries and adding eight conversions.
Quins led 33-3 at the break thanks to tries from skipper Jamie Cope, Maudsley, Anthony Cope, Simon Chadbone and debutant winger Elio Recchia.
In the second half, with locks Rob Dow and Chris Price providing a plentiful supply of ball from the line-out, Quins added further tries from Steve Chadbone, Anthony Cope, Paul Nye, Maudsley, Recchia, Dow and Paul De Lange.
A second-half try from captain David Engwell accounted for Oxford's only points as they lost 30-5 to Beaconsfield, leaving them anchored to the bottom of the table.
