Policeman Simon Collins is following in his mother's footsteps by joining the police force.
Pc Collins, 22, joined Thames Valley Police last year and is now on duty, based at Witney Police Station. His mother Sue, has been a WPc with the Avon and Somerset Police Force for ten years.
Originally from Cornwall, Pc Collins, who now lives in Carterton, served with the Royal Air Force police for four years before moving on to join the Thames Valley Police. "I am thoroughly enjoying myself in the police force. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of joining," he said.
