Friends of the late Canon Norwyn MacDonald Ramm, one of Oxford's most colourful clergymen, are invited to a celebration of his life at Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday, January 22.
Mac Ramm, as he was universally known, was vicar of St Michael at the Northgate Church in Cornmarket Street for 27 years, and his infectious laugh and sunny personality lightened church services and social gatherings.
In 1985, he was honoured by the Queen and became one of the 36 Queen's chaplains.
The memorial service, which starts at 1pm, is open for all to attend.
