A public meeting next week could raise new issues on the future development of Banbury.
The town's Civic Society has organised the meeting and three speakers -- town clerk Tom Thompson, urban centre manager Paul Pinkney, and town centre police sergeant Paul Whitty -- will face questions about development.
The main part of the meeting will be a question and answer session in which members of the public can also make suggestions.
Issues likely to be raised are the balance of old and new shopping areas, the preservation of older buildings, traffic free roads, canal safety, and access for disabled people.
John Bell, chairman of the Civic Society, will chair the meeting in St Mary's Centre, Horsefair, on Wednesday, January 23, at 7.30pm.
