The jobs of staff at an Oxfordshire motorcycle spares and accessory shop have been saved after a management buy-out.
About eight staff at M&P Motorcycle Accessories' outlet in Dorchester were under threat when parent company Action Leisure was taken into administration and some UK branches were closed.
But former financial controller Martyn Lewis stepped in to lead the buy-out team to take over the business and save the outlets in Dorchester, Coventry and Swansea.
Mr Lewis, who is operations director of the new company, said: "The problems the company experienced came through a very rapid expansion by the parent company in a number of areas just before a time of great economic uncertainty.
"This business was always profitable and offers a very solid base on which to build."
