Witney Roadrunners' Danielle Perry continued her successful start to the indoor season in the South of England Pentathlon Championship at Bedford.

In the under 17 women's event, Perry produced four club records. She clocked 10.37secs in the 60m hurdles, 8.81 in the 60m and 1.43m in the high jump on her way to amassing a club record points haul of 2,465 for sixth place overall.

Teammate Gemma Byrne produced a personal best of 7.01m in the shot and scored 2193 points in the same age group to finishing tenth.

In the under 15 competition, Claire Triggs, taking part in her first pentathlon, set a personal best of 1.30m in the high jump on her way to a creditable seventh place with a score of 2,306.

Witney also had two boys competing in the under 15 event.

Adam Miles set a club best of 11.9secs in the 60m hurdles and two personal bests of 6.44m in the shot and 1.27m in the high jump, netting 1,260 points for fifth place.

Matthew Sissons finished eighth in the event, setting personal bests in four of his five events.
