More than 100 children will be dancing at the Oxford Playhouse this week when Oxford Youth Dance brings together youth groups from all over the county to celebrate their new work.
The young dancers will be staging a series of specially commissioned and devised dance pieces, directed by top local professional dance artists.
The shows will also feature the Oxford Playhouse's own hip-hop dance outfit, Jazzmates from Pegasus Theatre, and the newly formed Spiral Image dance group from Witney.
The peformances of OYD 2002 will take place at 7pm on Friday 18 January and 3pm and 8pm on Saturday 19 January.
