Three generations of a family have got together to help a school publicise its 25th anniversary.

Jenny King, 63, was one of the cooks when Glory Farm Primary School, in Hendon Place, Bicester, opened in January, 1977. Her twin sons Owen and Russell, now 34, were among the first pupils and Owen's son James, four, has just started in the nursery class.

Mrs King, of Bristol Road, Bicester, who was a cook from 1977 to 1983, recalled: "As everything was new, we had to wash up all the cooking utensils before we could use them. The school has a really terrific family atmosphere."

A series of events will take place this year to mark the 25th anniversary, including a reunion in July.
