A Wantage charity has launched an innovative recycling appeal to improve its computers by calling for donations of unwanted software.
The Vale and Downland Museum, in Church Street, Wantage, wants people to donate computer software they no longer use.
Donations of software licences for Windows ME, Windows 98, Word for Windows, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft Project can be handed in at the museum.
The museum would be able to sell the software and invest the proceeds in upgrading its computer systems.
For copyright reasons, donated software licences must have the original certificate and licence key, which can be found on the manual, or disk case.
For more information, contact the museum on 01235 771447 or via email on softwaredonation@wantage.com
