English oaks will grow in farmland hedges, thanks to a special tree planting project.
More than 80 oaks were being planted along Heet Road, leading into Marsh Gibbon, near Bicester, this week.
The planting is part of a Millennium project to increase tree cover.
In separate presentations, picnic tables were donated to the children's playground, and Summerstown recreation ground.
