TV celebrity Isla St Clair will be the special guest at a folk evening in Banbury.
Ms St Clair shot to fame in the 1970s as Larry Grayson's assistant on the popular BBC gameshow The Generation Game.
She became known to millions for her bubbly manner and won the Best Female TV Personality of the Year award.
But first and foremost Ms St Clair is a singer. At the age of ten she was performing in folk clubs and has sung at venues all over the world, from the Troubadour in Los Angeles to a football stadium in Moscow.
She has been named Best Female Folk Singer, and the School of Scottish Studies uses her early recordings as definitive interpretations of Scottish songs.
Banbury folk fans will be able to see her at the Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club at The Mill on Wednesday, January 30.
Tickets are £8 on the door or £7 in advance from Derek or Mary on 01295 770952.
