Parked cars and impatient motorists are making a Wallingford road extremely dangerous.
Motorists claim it is only a matter of time before someone is killed in Wantage Road, but Oxfordshire County Council has no plans to restrict parking on the road.
Paul Beresford, of Burleigh House, in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, who uses the road regularly, said: "The main problem lies with on-street parking.
"People leaving Wallingford have to dodge into free spaces to let oncoming traffic come through.
"It's only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt or killed."
Wallingford town councillor Denis Strange said it was a county highways problem.
Mike Wasley, assistant engineer in the major projects team at the county council, said double yellow lines had been proposed for the road, but dropped after protests from residents.
