Carterton Tn 4, Highworth Tn 0
James Mortimer-Jones smashed a hat-trick in the first 15 minutes of Saturday's Premier Division game to set Carterton on the way to a comfortable victory over Highworth.
His first came direct from a corner on seven minutes; the second was a superb strike from the edge of the penalty area after nine minutes, and No 3 came six minutes later when he picked up a loose ball inside the penalty area and calmly made it 3-0.
Highworth struggled in the windy conditions and rarely threatened the home goal, Kevin Lewis setting up Nathan Radbone to make it 4-0 in the 22nd minute to kill the game as a contest.
Didcot Tn 0, Yate Tn 0
Didcot were unlucky not to take all three points against leaders Yate in a highly entertaining goalless draw.
Didcot, without regulars Jon-Paul Bailey, Dwaine Strong and Andy Cooper, gave new signing Darren McNamara his debut and they went close when Fletcher Hoey had a shot blocked on the line.
At the other end, Boyle forced Didcot keeper Gareth Walker to palm the ball away after a mistimed shot.
In the second half, Didcot took control, striking the woodwork twice in three minutes. Leading scorer Ian Concannon rattled the crossbar with a rasping drive, and then Dave Beaven saw another effort rebound back off a post.
Both sides could have nicked it in the dying moments. First, Yate's player-boss Richard Thompson brought a superb save from Walker, and with the last attack of the game, Glyn Jones narrowly failed to convert Concannon's cross.
Almondsbury Tn 2, North Leigh 3
North Leigh have striker Justin Timms to thank for snatching all three points, as his crucial late goal sealed victory despite a below-par team performance at Almondsbury.
A determined run by Andy McCabe set up Harry Burnley to fire North Leigh in front in the 18th minute, but the home side hit back with two goals from Gary Blunden and skipper Steve Watts to lead at the break.
They should have gone further ahead early in the second half but North Leigh keeper Kevin Alder dived full length to save Leon Simpson's penalty.
With 15 minutes left, a ball over the home defence found Matty Ellis and he made no mistake to level the scores.
The stage was then set for substitute Timms to head North Leigh's winner three minutes into injury time.
Pegasus Jun 2, Abingdon Utd 1
United were caught cold after their long journey to Hereford as Mark Davies scored within five minutes after taking the ball off Danny Riley and finishing with ease.
The remainder of the half produced little football from either side in the wet and windy conditions.
After 15 minutes of the second half, it got worse for Abingdon as Powell's deflected shot gave keeper Lee Joshua no chance.
Abingdon picked up their game and hit back within eight minutes. Mark Simms was brought down in the area and Kai Ridley put away the penalty.
Few chances were created in the closing stages as the home side ran out comfortable winners.
Wantage Tn 0, Tuffley Rov 1
Wantage paid the price for failing to take their chances - and they had plenty.
Lee Newport and Paul Bedwell both went close early on, but in the 28th minute, a long ball split Town's defence and Cooper fired under keeper Mark Pryde.
The second half again saw Wantage huffing and puffing without showing any killer instinct.
Paul Bedwell took over in goal from the injured Pryde at half-time, but this did not hamper Wantage as they continued to look for an equaliser.
Ben Spiero was denied by another top-class save, and in the dying seconds, Bedwell himself went up for a corner and sent a header just wide.
Letcombe off the bottom Letcombe 4, Witney Acad 2
Letcombe moved off the bottom of Division 1 West at Witney's expense with this victory.
In a much-improved performance, Letcombe always looked dangerous and goals from David Rees, Ian Whatley (2), Richard Claydon, allied to good performances from keeper Stuart Game and James Simms, ensured maximum points.
Middle Barton 0, Kidlington 1
Young Steve Lytton was the star of the show for Kidlington, hitting the woodwork twice before netting the winner with a superb header in injury time .
Kidlington, with the wind behind them in the first half, were unable to make chances count. Middle Barton then applied incessant pressure but were unable to save their unbeaten run.
Hook Norton 4, Clanfield 2
Clanfield gave a spirited display before going down to leaders Hooky.
The home side took the lead when Neil Donovan shot home, but Steve Wright equalised before half-time.
A crucial miss with the scores level saw Clanfield concede a second as Hook Norton went straight down to the other end for Donovan to score. A third goal looked to have killed the visitors off, but Shaun Miller scored again before Donovan completed his hat-trick.
Seb Wilsker missed a penalty for Clanfield on 90 minutes when Marcus Townsend pulled off a superb diving save.
Ardley 1, Chipping Norton Tn 1
Ardley dropped two points as they missed a host of chance and were made to pay when Joe Cockcroft equalised for Chippy with the last kick of the game.
Ardley were awarded a penalty in the first half when Stuart Beavon Jnr was brought down, only to see Richard Gardner's spot kick saved by Euan Prentice.
It took until the 52nd minute for Paul Bough to break the deadlock when he drilled home following a well-worked move, but Chippy's pressure in the final 15 minutes got its reward.
Aston Clinton 2, Milton Utd 2
Milton continued their challenge for promotion from Division 1 East by holding leaders Aston Clinton to a draw.
Facing a strong wind, Milton went behind when a defensive error let in Franklin, and a similar mistake allowed the same player to make it 2-0.
Milton came back well in the second half as Ian Smith thumped the ball in from a corner to pull one back, and then Smith won a header from another corner for Tom Larman to equalise.
Only some excellent goalkeeping denied the visitors a winner in the closing stages.
Martin Baker Sp 0, Quarry Nomads 0
Kevin McMahon's Nomads side continued their progress with another clean sheet and they should have snatched all three points.
Jamie Brackett and Justin Ford were both foiled by the home team keeper in one-on-ones in the first half.
Then, with only two minutes left, Delroy Thomas missed Quarry's best chance by placing the ball back in the grounded keeper's arms with the goal at his mercy.
