Former bus driver Steve Morgan is the new depot controller for Stagecoach in Witney.
Mr Morgan, 40, from Chipping Norton, has spent 12 years based at the depot, including six years as a driver.
The company's Witney staff operate ten services, including routes to Oxford, Carterton and Swindon, as well a variety of town services.
One of his aims is to build up Witney's No 100 service to Oxford, the most popular of the routes.
The depot, which has a fleet of 32 vehicles and employs 55 drivers, has just seen £140,000 spent on modernisation and improvements.
