Plumbing and heating company Darnells are searching for more staff after expanding into larger premises.
The company was founded in 1947 when Albert Darnell set up in business as a domestic plumber in Botley, Oxford.
Now his son John and grandson Austin are directors of the modern, hi-tech business, employing 30 people on site and another six at its new offices on the Oakfield Industrial Estate, Eynsham.
They are now looking for another ten engineers and mechanical fitters.
Fellow director Dave Messenger said: "We have moved out of cramped, rented premises, which consisted of just two and a bit rooms and limited storage space, into spacious accommodation that we own.
"The new premises have ground-floor office space, two more offices, a boardroom, reception area and double the storage space that we had before."
The company does commercial work for many Oxford University colleges. At present it is fitting air conditioning and heating in the Codrington Library at All Souls College.
