Bragg's Cycles shop in Abingdon is back in business after fire badly damaged part of the front of the listed building in the High Street.
The fire broke out early last Wednesday when a spot light in one of the main front windows overheated.
Passers-by noticed smoke filling the shop and raised the alarm. The fire service had the fire under control within 30 minutes.
Company director Norma Fernside said: "We were fortunate that the fire broke out when it did, as people were going to work. Had it happened much earlier, we could have faced a serious fire involving the whole block."
