People who have lost touch with former work colleagues can re-establish contact, via the Internet.
Computer experts Ron Turner and David Harris, have set up WorkersReUnited.co.uk to help people search the Internet for their former friends.
Both men were inspired by the success of the old schoolfriends website, friendsreunited.co.uk
Mr Turner, a business information specialist, said: "We thought it would be a nice way to reconnect with people we have lost touch with, and find out what they are doing now.
"You spend more time during your life at work than anywhere else."
He said the site was already well used, despite the fact that it had only been put on a few Internet search engines.
He added: "We have had people from fast food chains to managing directors using the site."
Users can add their workplace if it is not already listed, and record their memories and pictures.
An e-mail message is sent if anyone else signs up.
The site is free to register, but users pay £5 to contact a former colleague.
Mr Harris, who designed the website, said: "The working population moves around much more nowadays.
"This is an ideal opportunity to track down those long-lost workmates."
