Artist David Shepherd, famous for his paintings of steam trains and elephants, is to share his love of art with railway enthusiasts.
Mr Shepherd will talk to the Oxford Area Group of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway at its meeting tonight ( Tuesday January 22).
The event, at the Kidlington Recreational Trust Sports and Social Club, in Yarnton Road, Kidlington, starts at 7.30pm.
Group chairman John Broadhurst said: "David Shepherd is an internationally renowned artist. His illustrated talk will be entitled Steam Trains and Wildlife, and Mr Shepherd will have a number of his prints for sale on the evening."
Entry is £4 for adults and £3 for pensioners, students and under-18s.
