A charity collection by the Rotary Club of Oxford Isis raised £950 for OxPat, the charity for homeless people.
The collection was held at Wheatley motorway services, at the junction of the M40 and A40, just before Christmas.
OxPat places collection boxes in shops and businesses to give people an alternative to giving money to people begging.
Victoria Mort, of Oxpat, said: the money will buy duvets and other bedding at the Oxford hostel, The Bridge.
