Proton is introducing a package of special offers on all its models -- except 1.3-litre versions -- designed to add more than £1,000 in value to the Malaysian car range.

One year, or 9,000 miles free servicing, plus five-year warranty, free electrically-operated sunroof and six-CD autochanger will be offered to every customer buying a new Wira four or five-door model, except the 1.3-litre version, until March 31, 2002. The same package will be provided with the Satria 1.5 Sport and GTi and buyers of the 1.6-litre Impian four-door will get one year's free servicing, five-year warranty, six-CD autochanger and metallic paint.
