A diabetic was rescued by a lifeguard after she passed out and fell into a swimming pool.
Simone Robinson, 31, fell into the pool, last Wednesday, after fainting because there was too much insulin in her blood.
A lifeguard at the Bicester and Ploughley Sports Centre, Queens Avenue, Bicester, pulled her out and called paramedics.
Mrs Robinson, of East Street, Fritwell, said: "The lifeguard checked my medical alert bracelet, and called the paramedics.
"I was virtually unconscious for over an hour. When I came round, I found my children to be having lots of fun with members of the leisure centre staff.
"I cannot thank them, and the paramedics, enough for their kindness and concern. There is a wonderful community spirit in this area. I am so glad I live here."
