At an age when most women have been retired for 20 years, Mary Rafferty is still working five days a week in a Witney factory.
Staff at Electronix on the town's Station Lane industrial estate raised their glasses last Thursday to celebrate her 80th birthday.
Mrs Rafferty spent many years working in clothing factories in the town. She took up her present job assembling circuit boards two years ago and has no intention of retiring.
Her 75-year-old husband Daniel drives her to work from their home in Stockham Park, Wantage, every day in time for her to start work at 7.30am and then returns to pick her up when she clocks off at 4.30pm.
Mrs Rafferty said: "I love coming out to work. I enjoy it so much and I will stay for as long as they will have me here. They are lovely group of people to work with."
The company employs about 70 people and presented Mrs Rafferty with flowers, cards and a cake.
Company spokesman Sally Akers said: "I think she may be the oldest employee in the town. She is one of our best workers and always punctual.
"We are very lucky to have her work for us."
