A four-foot foam telephone is helping to remind parents that help is just a call away.
Oxfordshire Children's Information Service, which has just received charitable status, is touring the county to publicise its work.
The group gives advice on registered care minders and activities for children.
Project manager Vivienne Fox said: "We've become highly successful. One of the main reasons we are here is because childcare can prove a barrier to people wanting to work or return to education."
The group visited Cuddesdon Corner Family Centre, Cuddesdon Way, Blackbird Leys, Oxford. A series of activities for children and their parents was staged. Call 01993 886933 to contact the charity.
