Councillors have granted permission for the next phase of housing at the Madley Park development.
The new estate will eventually have more than 900 houses, a new primary school, shops, community centre and playing fields. Residents moved into the first houses last year. Members of West Oxfordshire District Council's lowlands planning sub-committee granted permission for 172 homes ranging from one-bedroomed flats to five-bedroomed houses.
