A charity collection at the M40 service station at Wheatley raised £950 for Oxford's homeless.
The collection was organised by the Rotary Club of Oxford Isis to aid Oxford Poverty Action Trust (Oxpat), based at the Bridge Drop-In Centre, Iffley Road, Oxford.
Oxpat chairman Dr Victoria Mort said the money would be used to provide duvets and other bedding at the newly refurbished Bridge, a drop-in centre for homeless teenagers.
Oxpat will soon be receiving thousands of pounds from StreetSmart, the campaign supported by the Mail's sister paper, The Oxford Times..
