Carterton Town manager Andy Slater believes his side's Hellenic season hinges on tomorrow's Complete Music Challenge Cup quarter-final with Premier Division title-chasers Yate Town at Kilkenny Lane.

Carterton have drifted out of the title race during the winter, but as cup holders, Slater is desperate for his side to retain the trophy.

"We have found some good form lately," he said. "We don't want to give up the cup easily, and I don't think we have anything to fear."

Andy Henry (knee) and Terry Merriman (Achilles) are both ruled out for Carterton, but striker Kenny Clarke is back in the squad after recovering from a hamstring strain.

North Leigh are without cup-tied duo Harry Burnley and new signing Gary Wright for their trip to Division 1 East side Eton Wick. Marc Jackson comes into the squad.

Abingdon United, beaten 2-1 at Pegasus Juniors in the league last week, will be seeking swift revenge when they host the Herefordshire outfit in a Premier Division clash at Northcourt Road.

Luke Brandon (bruised foot) is doubtful, but Adam Hamp returns from suspension.

Bicester Town hope to include new signing Lee Smith in their squad for the trip to Shortwood United.

Smith joins from Brackley Town, and has also had experience with Carterton Town, Witney Town and Abingdon Town.

Player-manager Barry Grant has completed his suspension and is back in the squad, but there are doubts over Stuart Fox (knee) and Matthew Cresswell (thigh strain).

Russell Paice returns from holiday, and goes straight back into Old Woodstock's squad for their trip to Pewsey Vale in Division 1 West. Steve Brandon faces a test on a groin injury.

Chipping Norton Town have doubts over Gavin Hutchinson (groin), Greg Thorley (hamstring) and Leon Massie (thigh) ahead of their home game with Ross Town.

Clanfield trio Jason Court, Peter Osborne and Rupert McFarlane are struggling to be fit for the home match with Shrivenham. However, Adam Lock, Steve Pratley and Steve Brazier all return to the squad.

Middle Barton welcome back Colin Pickup from a hamstring strain as they travel to lowly Letcombe.

Quarry Nomads hope to complete the signing of defender Wayne Cox from Ardley United in time for their home game with Englefield Green in Division 1 East.

Francis Fox returns to the squad after missing last week's game through work commitments, but Tristron Lawrence (broken arm) and Gary Trinder (suspended) are both ruled out.

Milton United have doubts over Paul Tuson and Paul J Davis for the trip to Peppard.

Kevin Williams has damaged ligaments and misses Kidlington's Supplementary Cup second-round tie at home to Hook Norton.
