Talks between Oxford United's chairman and Oxford City Council over the late payment of almost £500,000 are due to start next week.
Club chairman Firoz Kassam has agreed to make payments as part of the deal struck over the Kassam Stadium at Minchery Farm. But an agreed payment of £494,000 by Firoka (Oxford United Stadium) Ltd, has not yet been paid and Colin Beever, the council's property manager is due to meet Mr Kassam, when he returns from holiday on Monday.
Mr Kassam has suggested in the club programme that his plans to develop a leisure complex next to the Minchery Farm stadium could be delayed.
Firoka has already paid the council about £500,000 for the site.
