More than 100 students in Year 7 at Burford School took part in sponsored spelling and arithmetic tests -- and raised £1,160 for Barnardos.
Top money-raiser 12-year-old Gabrielle Dunkelman, who totted up more than £100, presented the cheque at a school assembly.
