A new charity that provides information on childcare has been launched.
The Oxfordshire Children's Information Service organised a fun day for pre-school children at Banbury's East Street Centre to introduce the new service to parents and carers.
Service manager Vivienne Fox is pictured with two-year-old William Duxbury at the launch.
Outreach liaison officer Laura Robbins said: "We are celebrating our new status as an independent charity. We used to be part of the Oxfordshire Play Association but are now going it alone."
She said it was important that all carers and parents knew about the service, which provides free and confidential advice on childcare and other family activities, as well as a helpline on 01993 886933.
