An abandoned articulated lorry full of tyres is posing a major problem for South Oxfordshire District Council.
The lorry was left in a layby on the A4074 at Woodcote last week, but all markings and registrations had been removed.
The council wants any information it can get on who left it.
If it cannot find the owner the cost of removing it will be £400 for the lorry and £1 for every one of the hundreds of tyres it contains.
Council spokesman Shona Parsons said: "We are doing everything we can as a council to stop fly tipping and the abandoning of vehicles."
Anyone with information on the lorry should call the council on 01491 823416.
