Wantage Hospital League of Friends is looking for four new committee members.
Secretary Mary Ponton, said: "We meet five times a year, including the AGM in March. Our main business is to consider requests for funding, so it is an enjoyable rather than an onerous task.
"Anybody can be nominated for the league and we would like to get some younger, active members on board."
Money is mainly received from donations, rather than active fundraising. Among recent purchases the league has made to help the hospital is a state-of-the-art X-ray table, bought so that local people do not have to travel elsewhere for X-rays.
