The southbound carriageway of the M40 was partially closed in the rush-hour after an accident involving two lorries.
An articulated heavy goods vehicle and a milk tanker collided on the motorway between junctions five and six, near the Stokenchurch Dip, at 6.25am on Thursday.
The HGV driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital. The other driver was shocked, but did not need hospital treatment.
Two lanes of the motorway were closed while the accident was cleared. Both were re-opened by 9am.
