Bereaved children have been helped on the road to recovery with a £1,000 grant from the Co-op.
The money has been given to Oxfordshire charity Seesaw, which helps young people come to terms with the loss of a relative.
The organisation, based in Merewood Avenue, Sandhills, Oxford, was set up in June 2000, and in the last year has given advice and support to 160 children of all ages.
Head of fundraising Manon Bradley said: "We asked the Oxford, Gloucester and Swindon Co-op for the money, because they support community-based organisations with their community dividends.
"We've already spent some of it on books for our staff to read about bereavement.
"But we will also buy work books for children that we work with.
"We have been extremely successful since we started.
"It's almost sad that we have been so successful, because it means there are so many bereaved children in Oxfordshire."
