A village pantomime has proved so popular that the dress rehearsal will be open to the public.
About 40 members of the Hooky Players are involved in Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood from Wednesday to Saturday.
Director Brian Rider, who moved to Hook Norton two years ago and set up the Players last year, said: "This will be the group's second production. In June last year we did a comedy which was a success.
"The panto is a sell-out and we've had to open the dress rehearsal to the public at a reduced price so as not to disappoint those who couldn't get tickets to the full shows."
