A farmer's planning application for a farm worker's house has been overturned by the committee he used to lead.
In June, South Oxfordshire District Council northern area planning committee gave permission to former councillor Jim Nixey for a house at Richmond Hill Farm, Chiselhampton. But members did not know a derelict small barn called The Bothy had been converted without planning permission.
Mr Nixey said it was not part of the agricultural holding but he held the title deed.
The committee decided The Bothy could be the home for the agricultural worker and withdrew planning permission given for the house.
