Harold Bennett
Tributes have been paid to a popular charity volunteer who has died.
Harold 'Harry' Bennett was a keen supporter of the mental health charity Mind, and was a regular visitor to its drop-in centres and fundraising events.
Mr Bennett, a retired removal man from Abingdon Road, Oxford, was affectionately known as the 'badge man'.
He died of a heart attack on January 16, aged 71.
He lived with his long-term partner Eileen Clough. His wife, Winnie, died in 1979. Mr Bennett had two daughters and three grandchildren.
Ms Clough, 64, said: "He was always known as the 'badge man' because he had so many badges on his cap. He will be missed by many people."
His daughter Caroline Bennett, 42, of John Piers Lane, South Hinksey, said: "He was a good man.
"If anybody was in trouble, he would help them out."
