Children's book publisher Scholastic has sold out of copies of The Amber Spyglass, the final book in the trilogy, His Dark Materials.
The book, by north Oxford author Philip Pullman, won the Whitbread Book of the Year Award last week. Scholastic plan to reprint 50,000 copies of the book this week, and similar quantities of the first two titles.
