West Oxfordshire District Council is piloting a scheme to allow staff and councillors to work from home.
Pilot schemes have been in use since last June with four members of staff from different departments working from home, or teleworking. The council's head of information services, Bob Compton, said: "So far the pilot has proved very successful indeed with many positive comments made. However, it should be noted that home working is not suitable for all members of staff."
