E-mail pen-pals and video conferencing are in the pipeline as school pupils aim to link up across Europe.
Teachers from schools in France, Spain and Holland came over to get the wheels rolling at Bartholomew School, Eynsham.
They were among teams of staff from several European countries visiting Oxfordshire as part of the Comenius project. Headteacher Bill Berry said: "It's an exciting contact and is very good in opening the eyes of pupils to Europe and the wider world."
