Parents and teachers at a Witney primary school have come up with a novel idea for pupils who are feeling lost or lonely at playtime.
A Buddy Post -- similar to a bus stop -- is now in place in the playground at breaks and lunchtimes at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School.
The portable post is in the charge of members of the school council, who are responsible for it.
The school's headteacher, Anne Marie Kelly, said: "The idea is that anyone who is feeling a bit lonely and on their own can stand by it and other pupils will come along and play with them."
