Packed audiences at Didcot Girls' School need no reminding of the foot-stomping tunes in Rogers and Hammerstein's popular classic Oklahoma!
The lively musical is enhanced by imaginative choreography and colourful costumes in the joint Girls' School-St Birinus School production.
Seventy pupils -- mostly girls -- make up the cast, including Caitriona Murdoch as Laurie, Mark Hayward as Ali Hakikm, Jessica Linton as Aunt Eller, Magin Trewhella as Curly, and Ed White as Will Parker.
Also appearing are Nikki Gibson as Ado Annie, Jack Trewhella as Jud and Katie Ball as Adele Carnes.
Director Maria Robertson, who works at the Girls' School and has been involved in four joint productions, said: "I decided this year to direct a large cast, which would best suit this type of traditional musical."
The 16-strong orchestra, including former pupils and professionals, is under the direction of Paul Willett.
As with all the joint Girls' School-St Birinus shows, this production is supported by striking sets -- including a barn which is built in the second act -- as well as high technical standards with sound and lighting.
The sell-out show is taking place between today Jan 30 and Saturday Feb 2.
