Leaders Oxford Community Church slipped to a 2-1 defeat against North Oxford in the only RT Harris Oxford City FA fixture to beat the weather.

Mark Hume fired North into the lead in the clash at Oxford Brookes University Westminster Institute of Education, before Ashley Richards' superb drive increased their advantage.

Darren Anderson pulled one back on the stroke of half time, but North keeper Gerry Allen made some outstanding saves after the break to preserve their lead.

In the League Cup second round, Sutton Courtenay Res beat Marcham Res in a thrilling penalty shoot-out after the tie finished 4-4 after extra time.
