Thame United squandered a goal lead as the crashed at Northwood in Ryman League Division 1.
It scuppered their hopes of building on their recent good run.
James Saulsbury cleared a half chance from Northwood in the opening minutes before the visitors took the lead.
Mark West found Wayne Cort in space and the striker released Jefferson Louis, who slammed the ball home.
After some excellent flowing football from both sides, Northwood levelled through Laurence Yaku.
Louis went close with a piledriver, and minutes later, had a goal ruled out for offside, but five minutes from the end, Northwood went ahead through Chris Gell, and sealed their win through Yaku's second of the game.
