Pensioners in south Oxfordshire are being warned to be on their guard against doorstep conmen after thefts from homes in Didcot, Abingdon and Wantage.
In all three distraction burglaries, men claiming to be electricity company officials talked their way into properties, then escaped with cash.
A Didcot police spokesman said the pensioners involved appeared to have been targeted by a group using the same methods.
