Swimmers will get the chance to make a big splash for charity in Abingdon's new leisure centre before it opens to the public.
The White Horse Leisure and Tennis Centre in Audlett Drive opens on March 28.
But people taking part in Swimathon 2002 on Thursday, March 21, and Saturday, March 23, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief and Swimathon -- which distributes money to local charities -- will have exclusive use of the pool at the £10m centre.
It is one of 500 pools taking part in the event. More than 40,000 swimmers of all ages are expected to take part across the country.
Centre manager Paul Nangle said: "There is a real buzz surrounding this event. Participants can't wait to dive in and raise some cash for charity."
