A thief walked into Wantage Health Centre and stole a telephone money box containing £30 in cash.
The man walked into the Garston Lane centre at 1.30pm on Monday and took the money box attached to a payphone.
A female member of staff gave chase but the man escaped down Garston Lane and into Foliat Drive.
He is described as white, in his late teens, tall and of athletic build, wearing a blue baseball cap and a blue jacket.
